We are proudly the Sub Saharan agents for Cielo hammocks. The hammocks are hand woven by the Maya in the Yucatan peninsula, in southeastern Mexico. The Maya have been weaving these hammocks for hundreds of years and this is where, in the absence of traditional beds, it is the main sleeping apparatus. We have enjoyed these hammocks for the past 3 decades and are very excited to share these handmade works of functional art, with Africa. Please feel free to reach out to Karpinski Design for all your hammock needs.

We can arrange orders from a single hammock to a container load. Cielo hammocks have over 900 weavers working from home, their Yucatan facilities and can fulfil any order. We can also look at customising hammock finishes and colours with you, to meet your needs.
